The Druidcraft Calendar can also be used to predict eclipses of both the sun and the moon.

Lunar eclipses are much more common as they can be seen almost globally, and they always occur at the full moon, when the sun and moon are opposite each other and either in line with the nodes, or one hole either side of the nodes.

Solar eclipses may occur when the sun and moon pegs are in the same position (new moon), and they are also in-line with or one hole either side of a node. It is important to understand that the calendar will predict an eclipse, even if it is not visible at your latitude.
